Youre a really good person.

You are so insightful and dead on with what you talk about. You described my personality to a “T.” I always feel like I should be doing something which in itself can be exhausting.

I just found your vid after I emotional binged tonight, and I found comfort and self accptance in your realness. I could relate to everything you’re saying. Thank you for revealing your truth, it means peace for me tonight. I think you are a beautiful person.

I found this very helpful, I think I’m going to start making my own list too to get into the bottom of what triggers my binge. I’m recovering from binge eating disorder and have been able to lost 10 pounds I gained when I started to binge.
Oh, by the way, I think you’re super cute!

I completly understand. I think its even tougher for women. Men seem to get away with being “bigger”. Maybe because we arent obsessed about our appearance like women’s magazines do to women. I had a heart attack (sort of) a while back and thats all I needed. I started working out, and for me – I don’t have to be skinny, I was just mad at myself for allowing my strength to deteriorate so badly. Your doing good things. Keep it up.

also one thing to add: for some people emotional eating or binging or whatnot is a habit, for others its an addiction, but i think the key is breaking the habit. learning to eat when you’re hungry, not because you’re feeling low.

I have tendencies to emotionally eat, like out of boredom or sadness or loneliness. Like you I’m also a perfectionist and have very black and white thinking… one thing I heard once is that instead of just black and white, you should have “rainbow thinking”. Sounds corny, but it’s better than black or white or “grey”… we all have a variety of choices every day in this world and emotional eating shouldn’t be one of them… we eat to fuel our bodies, not our emotions!

Thank you so much for sharing this. One doesn’t often encounter this kind of openness with men. Thank you again!

Yeah, thanks I thought that was a very open and honest account with helpful tips. Often one finds that being with those uncomfortable feelings is not as difficult as the feat about it. Breaking down habits is extremely satisfying.. one step at a time, not getting overwhelmed with the size of them problem. Good wishes to you!

hey I’m surprised you don’t have a girlfriend, u seem to be very carring and very open in a normal way, but I’ve noticed that in the rest of your videos you try to act like sort of a “macho” and thats not attractive in comperison with u being natural, dont change :*

GREAT vid… I soooooo relate. I just made a video about this, that showed me, while being in the mind set of wanting to emotionally eat. It’s called “the ugly part of me”, if you want to check, it out. Anyways thanks for your insight!

Andrew, wow your website is really helpful thanks its really interesting how the part you talk about being a perfectionist even more so in the past would have led you to create a perfect video recording, right away I could relate with you
and the 3 tips about isolation lately I really have been considering that but now I can really see how isolating yourself from people can bring more stress
-thank you
