If you want to be happy practice compassion… For those who may not find happiness to exercise religious faith, it’s okay to remain a radical atheist, it’s absolutely an individual right, but the important thing is with a compassionate heart – then no problem. Each of us in our own way can try to spread compassion into people’s hearts. Western civilizations these days place great importance on filling the human ‘brain’ with knowledge, but no one seems to care about filling the human ‘heart’ with compassion. This is what the real role of religion is…” o DAN SALOMON -”Sometimes it pays to stay in bed on Monday, rather than spending the rest of the week debugging Monday’s code.” o DAVE BARRY -”YOU CAN ONLY BE YOUNG ONCE. It happens with the touch of thought.” o DEEPAK TANDON -”Soaring, Where perception, from wherever, is correct in itself, Where the horizon spreads to all directions, Where merger, defies the theories of opposite forces, Where separation, is reduced to just an illusion, Where ‘the abstract force’, breaks all barriers of disputed views, Where the issue, is not even the issuelessness, Where the beauty of a lush green meadow and a desert is the same, Where colour is not bound by a significance, Where merger, even merges the difference between duality and oneness, Where wholeness is love, Where love in its description, goes abstract, Where ‘The abstract’, manifests wherever to enjoy wherever, Where, wherever amazes himself with himself, Where this phenomena may be expressed as ‘life’. Where there ‘is’, thus, “The Joy of Life”.” o DENG XIAOPING -”If the masses feel some anger, we must let them express it.” o DENNIS WEAVER -”It’s not an if- we’re going to have to change. From delight, grief is born,/ from delight, fear is born./ For someone freed from delight/ there is no grief/ – so why fear? From sensuality, grief is born,/ from sensuality, fear is born./ For someone freed from sensuality/ there is no grief/ – so why fear? From craving, grief is born,/from craving, fear is born./ For someone freed from craving/ there is ho grief/ – so why fear?” o DHAMMAPADA -”Heedfulness is the path to the deathless; heedlessness is the path to death. DURGALAKSHMI, V -”It is God, His being, His seeing, which make the whole world seem a never ending beauty in bliss. This beauty, this bliss is born of love divine. To grant man this beauty, this true bliss of love, God comes down and walks the earth, as a sage, as a saint, a mahatma or a guru divine. His mystic divine vision now, is for one and all, to see, to drink in and feel sweet ecstasy Man then dances singing thanks, thanks, thanks, thanks my dear lord, for revealing to me You and I can be one in sweet godly seeing. Truth, love and beauty are an eternal reality to me now, as I know You are me and I You.”

Living with Michael Jackson (part 6 9)

Living with Michael Jackson is a Granada Television documentary, in which British journalist Martin Bashir interviewed Michael Jackson over a span of 8 months, from May 2002 to January 2003. It was shown first in the UK on ITV (as a Tonight special) on 3 February 2003 and in the US three days later on ABC, introduced by Barbara Walters. Martin Bashir put the proposal to Jackson as a way to show the world the truth about him and “make nothing off limits.” Jackson’s decision to make the documentary was made on a suggestion by his close friend Uri Geller. It later emerged that Geller had turned down another ‘bid’ for the interview by journalist Louis Theroux. The interview was very unusual, as it had been extremely rare for Jackson to allow such access to his personal life, or to talk so freely about his traumatic childhood. Nevertheless, he did show some reserve when asked to discuss other personal issues, such as the plastic surgery he had allegedly had. The interview: Living with Michael Jackson opens with Bashir’s narration about how he persuaded the singer to allow him to interview him. It begins at the Neverland Ranch, where he and Bashir tour the estate’s grounds and face off in a race car match. Later, he explains that he writes the songs by composing lyrics and not the music, because the music “will write itself.” Upon being requested by Bashir, he demonstrates that through dancing, he becomes the physical embodiment of the music. Afterwards Jackson admits that the

Types of Acne Treatment Solutions For Your Skin

Comments Off | Mix Posts Tags:, , , ,

Treating your acne can be an overwhelming task what with all of the medications available these days.

The best way to find treatment for your acne is to first learn about your skin. There are 3 main skin types. Knowing what type of skin you have is the first step to effectively controlling your acne.

Renata Nyleve Editor of the “Best Acne Solution Products” website — http://www.AcneSolutionsProducts.com — pointed out;

“…If your skin is oily a gel product is best; if it is dry, you should choose a cream based product. People with sensitive skin should choose products with lower concentrations of active ingredients…”

It may be best to visit a dermatologist when choosing acne treatments. With so many different factors affecting what causes acne and there are so many treatments to choose from you may feel more comfortable getting the help of a professional when making your decision.

If you would rather control acne your own way, understand that it is very important to read all labels and always, always use as directed. As with all medications, educate yourself on any side-effects or warnings.

Acne treatments are available in several different ways including:

- Prescription Medications
- Creams and Gels
- Facial Masks
- Topical Treatments
- Over-the-Counter Treatments
- Home Remedies

Prescription Medications

Oral antibiotics (tablets), taken daily for around 3 months, can be prescribed for inflammatory acne. These pills act to kill off the bacteria infecting the skin. However, it may take four to six months for the benefits to be seen. For women, a standard combined oral contraceptive pill (containing an estrogen and a progestogen) can improve acne symptoms. Antibiotics do not prevent pores from becoming blocked so treatment to prevent blackheads, such as benzoyl peroxide, is often also prescribed at the same time.

Creams and Gels

Lotions that contain benzoyl peroxide dry out the skin and encourage it to shed the surface layer of dead skin. Benzoyl peroxide also has an antibacterial action. Together, these effects make it harder for pores to become blocked and for infection to develop. When used as directed, these products can make a big difference to the overall appearance of your skin.

Facial Masks

Facial masks can be a great addition to your basic skin care regimen by offering extra deep cleaning and exfoliation to troubled skin. Masks send a concentrated dose of proven acne fighters to your skin and deliver them deep down. A good facial mask can act to keep even the most troubled skin clean and clear, reducing the frequency and severity of breakouts.

There are several benefits of using clay masks. As a facial clay mask dries it tightens the skin, shrinks the pores and naturally pulls excess oils and impurities such as whiteheads and blackheads from your skin.

Topical Treatments

Topical antibiotics work by killing the Propionibacterium acnes bacteria. This helps reduce the small infections in the pores, and also indirectly keeps the pores open.

Over the counter Treatments

Over-the-counter remedies are available anywhere from your local pharmacy to the grocery store and are intended to treat mild to moderate acne. These treatments include the creams and gels mentioned previously.

Home treatment

“…It’s important to keep spot-prone areas clean, so wash the affected area twice a day with an un-perfumed cleanser. Never, ever pick a zit! This could lead to scarring as well as spread the infection. No home treatments for acne will work immediately. It can take weeks, if not months, for significant effects to be noticeable. Never sleep in makeup and wash your face in the morning when you wake up and at night before you go to bed…” added R. Nyleve.

Budget Hotels in Gurgaon,India

There is a cluster of budget hotels in Gurgaon. These are economy hotels which have sophisticated amenities in tune with the growing economy and the consequent international standards. These budget hotels in Gurgaon are less expensive with a lesser tariff, their sophisticated amenities notwithstanding. Some of these hotels offer extra-sized rooms with a choice between twin and king-sized beds. Some of them have spacious bathrooms, rain-shower, rooms and suites with IP technology that harnesses the power of the Internet to let you stay in touch with your colleagues instantly and affordably.

Most of the budget hotels offer services and facilities including medical and ayurvedic packages, baby sitting, business, entertainment and travel arrangements, city sight-seeing trips, shopping tours, visits to historic places and monuments such as Taj Mahal, etc. In spite of their economy tariff, the budget hotels can tantalize your palate with creative cuisine that belongs to a variety of cuisine and culinary arts. Most of them have packages ideally suited to the wallet of their clientele, primarily from the business community.

Budget hotels in Gurgaon have an obsequious presence and can be located in the main areas of the city nerve points. In resonance with the budgetary schemes chalked out by these hotels, food and accommodation are available at some points at a reduced price for an assured frequency and periodicity. Some budget hotels in Gurgaon offer special packages for tourists who find it a boon because they can laze about with more ease and assurance in the leisurely exhilarating ambience of the resplendent business city.

Apropos of the special schemes, a few budget hotels in Gurgaon have subsidized tariffs for other facilities such as sight-seeing, pilgrimage, health club packages, etc. These measures have in fact brought about a fillip to the revenue generation potential of these hotels. The budget hotels in Gurgaon are by and large thriving business entities.

In consequence to the innovation introduced by the budget hotels in Gurgaon and its inevitable corollary of success relished by them, the hotels in the neighboring localities have adopted similar schemes. The particular milieu attendant upon the viability of a particular business in a particular locality may not be identical with other businesses in other localities. As such, some entities which followed the path of the budget hotels in Gurgaon have tasted the bitter fruit of failure.

Anti Aging Skin Care Products. Do They Work?

Comments Off | Beauty Tips Tags:, , , , , ,

Everyone’s seen those antiaging skin care products on the shelves, and most of us have tried them from time to time for wrinkle reduction and correction of those other pernicious signs that we’re getting older. They’ve been called a surgeon in a jar. But do they work for wrinkle reduction or, for that matter, do they do anything for your skin at all? Should you start using antiaging skin care products?

Firstly you should understand one thing. The antiaging skin care industry is huge, worth many billions of dollars. That should alert you to something right from the start. There’s big bucks to be made in anti aging and beauty products like face creams, skin rejuvenation products, topical skin products, facial applications, sensitive skin treatments, dry skin treatments, oily skin treatments, special skin therapies, aging skin ph balancing and so on, and on, and on.

Where there’s big bucks to be made there’s plenty of opportunities for companies to market products that don’t do what they’re supposed to do. The motivation is high to sell, regardless of the efficacy of the product. Because the rewards are huge.

The next thing to understand is that the FDA doesn’t require the antiaging skin care companies to demonstrate that a product is effective before it is marketed. So a completely useless antiaging wrinkle cream for wrinkle reduction, for example, can be put on the market despite the fact that it really does nothing at all for wrinkle correction.

And all sorts of claims can be made about it regardless of whether these claims can be supported by any evidence.

But it gets worse. The FDA also does not require the anti-aging skin care companies to demonstrate that their skin care products are even safe for human use. And so there are many skin care and anti-aging products on the market that contain ingredients that at best don’t do much at all and at worst are actually dangerous, and some are even suspected of causing or known to cause cancer. And this includes cosmetics.

For example, a recent test of big brand name lipsticks found lead in over 50% of them. Scary isn’t it?

So the question of whether the anti aging skin care products work isn’t the most important question. The first, and most important question is, are they safe? Does that “surgeon in a jar” actually create a health risk for the person using it?

However as a general rule many of those antiaging skin care products you see sitting on the shelves do very little. Even if they contain potentially useful ingredients they are often present in such small quantities that there isn’t enough of the ingredient in there to do much. Because beneficial ingredients are expensive, so as little as possible goes in. Just enough to be able to list it on the label to help sell the product.

However despite this, there is some good news. Yes there are big brand name antiaging skin care products that contain nasty ingredients. And yes, you should be careful of starting using that “surgeon in a jar” on your skin. However that warning applies to many of the big brand name products. There are other, small, niche skin care companies making skin care products that are made up of naturally occurring ingredients that are proven safe, proven effective, and offer no risks to the person using the product.

One company in particular produces extremely high quality antiaging skin care products that are highly effective, safe enough to eat and are actually quite cost competitive to the big brand names. If you’re looking for total facial rejuvenation you might be disappointed, but if you’re looking for products that really do have an effect on wrinkle reduction, for example, then there are excellent products available.

However you won’t, most likely, have  heard of the company. It’s small, has a limited advertising budget, and sells it’s products direct to consumers to keep the price down. And it even offers a money back guarantee on the effectiveness of it’s products. Try getting that from the big brand names. So if you’re serious about finding a genuine anti-aging wrinkle cream there are solutions.

However this company is extremely hard to find because it doesn’t even try to compete with the big brands, it can’t. So it allows it’s products to do the talking, and happy customers to keep coming back for more, and passing the word to their friends.
